The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is the nonprofit, applied research organization of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). We develop advanced technology solutions and large-scale system prototypes to address the most difficult problems in national security, the state of Georgia, and the overall human condition.

GTRI is headquartered on the Georgia Tech campus in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia, but our laboratories are found on and off the main campus with more than 20 field offices around the nation.
