GTRI Jacksonville provides responsive research and educational support to the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia region. This region is collectively home to 11 large Department of Defense military installations, numerous Department of Homeland Security activities, and a large civilian technology and industrial complex. As a DoD University Affiliated Research Center (UARC), GTRI is the nonprofit, applied research unit of the Georgia Institute of Technology (GIT).  GTRI leverages the science and engineering base of GIT to enhance the impact of our collective research output.  Collaboratively, we advance technology and provide innovative solutions to:
